4-Week Virtual Group Coaching Series: Helping Girls Reduces Anxiety During Uncertain Times
The coronavirus is understandably adding to teen girls' stress and overwhelm. From adapting to online learning and wondering when schools will reopen or how grades may be affected, to missing friends and events, teen girls are feeling anxious, isolated, and disappointed - and they're not alone.
This group will help them feel less alone!
In recent years, anxiety and depression have been on the rise among teenage girls. Research finds that the number of girls who often felt nervous, worried, or fearful jumped 55 percent from 2009 to 2014, and that American girls are also three times more likely than boys to experience depression. This unprecedented time is adding to girls’ feelings of unease.
This group will help lessen their anxiety!
Now more than ever, our girls need support with managing anxiety and uncertainty. Through a 4-part virtual weekly online group coaching series, girls will have a safe space to share their worries and connect with peers while learning how to reduce stress and protect their mental health.
Through these four sessions, girls will:
- Share and process their fears, worries, and frustrations
- Discover and use new stress-reducing tools
- Learn new habits for practicing self-care
- Receive accountability in utilizing their new stress-reducing strategies
- Lessen their anxiety
This group will not only teach your girls tools for managing stress now, but they will also develop healthy new skills to take into their future!
